My Route to Publication by Lizzie Lamb @lizzie_lamb #TuesdayBookBlog

Many thanks to Shelley Wilson for inviting me onto her fab blog. A retrospective is always good and it reminds me how far we’ve travelled in under five years. Here’s to the future – I’d like to write another couple of books while I still have the energy – LOL.

I’ve met my next guest on a couple of occasions, once at the Book Connectors meet up in Birmingham, and then again in Leicester just before Christmas. She is always so supportive of others, a delight to chat with, and an inspiration to all writers’. I am, therefore, over the moon to invite the lovely Lizzie Lamb to join me today to talk about her route to publication. Over to Lizzie…

About Lizzie Lamb

I write contemporary women's fiction mostly based in Scotland with hot heroes, feisty heroines and always a happy ending. Along with three other authors - Adrienne Vaughan, June Kearns and Margaret Cullingford - I formed the New Romantics Press under which our books are published. I have published seven novels since 2012, the latest being Dark Highland Skies. I am currently working on #8 which I hope to publish in 2024. In the meantime, do check out my Amazon page: viewAuthor.at/LizzieLamb and click 'FOLLOW' to keep up to date with my news.

  1. Hi, Lizzie – inspirational story, but it makes me feel tired just to read it! Just a small correction, Accent Press were never a digital first company, they started (or perhaps I should say we started,) before the e-revolution. I really admire your work ethic. Lesley Cookman

    • Thanks, Lesley, so hard to keep tabs on everything. I’ll make a mental note of that. It’s getting harder and harder to stand out in the crowd these days, but my plan is to write and publish two more books in the next three/four years and take stock after that. God willing, as my old mum used to say.
