What book have you read multiple times? Features “The Dud Avocado” by Elaine Dundy

Author June Kearns has read The Dud Avocado by Elaine Dundy
So why has June read it multiple times? She says,
Why do I love The Dud Avocado, by Elaine Dundy so much? I’ve read it time and time again since I was 16, and still find it very, very funny.
I just love American Sally Jay Gorce, with her pink hair and failed outfits, and the helter-skelter ride she takes us on, through Paris of the 1950s. She’s witty and charming and self-deprecating and her voice is so real, you feel as if you’re eavesdropping on a screwball comedy.
Someone said that Sally Jay blazed a trail for all those Carrie Bradshaws. Yes! I think she did!
