About Lizzie Lamb

I write contemporary women's fiction mostly based in Scotland with hot heroes, feisty heroines and always a happy ending. Along with three other authors - Adrienne Vaughan, June Kearns and Margaret Cullingford - I formed the New Romantics Press under which our books are published. I have published seven novels since 2012, the latest being Dark Highland Skies. I am currently working on #8 which I hope to publish in 2024. I really enjoyed reading about the books which would keep you company while stranded on a desert island (south sea is certainly a good idea – I join you there – except it would not be deserted anymore) The only writer I heard about is Jilly Cooper but all your choices seem very interesting. I am sure you will not get bored while sitting in your bamboo skirt shaded by palm leaves and drinking coconut milk on a lovely white sandy beach waiting for rescue. Reading your stories about the books and why you have chosen them is most entertaining and I simply love your way of using words and humour to its best.

    • Thank you Astrid. You would be the ideal company on a desert island 😋. I’ve almost forgotten what the sun feels like but would happily don a grass skirt. So glad you enjoyed reading the blog post. It’s humour that keeps us going, isn’t it?
